Goodbye Summer and welcome Fall. With summer coming to a close and the weather getting colder the Farmer’s Market has closed for the season. Thank you all for coming out and supporting our Farmer’s this year. They sure did bring some great fruits and vegetables and well as honey, nuts, jewelry, kettle corn and Jill keeps raving about those breakfast burritos.

Thank you all who came out to Grillin’ & Chillin’ 2. What a great success and so much fun. The streets were filled with the smells of bar-b-que wafting through the air as people strolled through looking at the cars, listening to music and sampling the chili….and oh what great chili we had.

This year was our 9th annual Wine & Art Stroll. The feedback is that this was the best year yet. Hope we can out due ourselves next year for our 10th annual Wine & Art Stroll.

Don’t miss this year’s Oktoberfest Beer Stroll, Saturday, October 15th from 4-8 p.m. Tickets are $ 20.00 and can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event.

Grillin’ & Chillin’ Rib and Chili Cook-off

The Farmers Market is on every Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Women’s Improvement Club Park, Downtown Dixon located at the corner of North First and C Streets. The event will run every Saturday from May 7th through September 24th, 2011.

Show your support, by attending the weekly event. Bring your friends and family and enjoy the weekly activities.
